Accounting & QuickBooks Specialist Opening
Area CPA firm looking for an experienced individual to join our Bay City Team. Candidates should possess experience in all aspects of accounting including preparation of financial statements, account reconciliations, & journal entry preparation. In addition, candidates will need to have a knowledge of payroll processing including wage calculations, tax computations and preparation of required payroll tax returns. Candidates should have experience with various accounting software programs such as Quickbooks and/or Creative Solutions. Confidentiality, communication and computer skills needed. Bachelor’s degree or applicable experience preferred. Competitive benefits with compensation based on experience.

Associate Accountants typically have from 0 to 3 years of experience in the field of accounting. Our Associate Accountants have the opportunity to experience the numerous aspects of a career in public accounting. Beginning duties will cover areas of accounting, auditing and tax in a variety of industries. Duties include internal control analysis, test of transactions, walk-throughs, substantive testing, financial statement preparation along with tax preparation and research. You will work closely with the Firm's Partners and Managers as you gain valuable practical experience in the profession.

Bachelors or Masters Degree with a Major in Accounting having achieved the 150 hour requirement and plans to sit for the Uniform CPA Examination
